Presidential Decree of the Sudan Justice and Equality Movement
Presidential Decree No. (1) of the Year 2009
According to the article (40) of the Statute of the Sudan Justice and Equality Movement regarding the authorities, responsibilities and the formation of the Presidential Office and after a wide consultation with the various organs of the movement and the consent of the Legislative Council of the Movement I issued the following decisions:
1. Changing the name of the movement from “Sudan Justice and Equality Movement” to “Democratic Justice and Equality Movement”. Based on this resolution all correspondences and transactions shall use the new name the Democratic Justice and Equality Movement
2. Creation of the post of General Coordinator to supervise and coordinate the movement’s activities in all states of the Sudan instead of the Chairmen of the seven Regions of the Sudan.
3. Restructuring of the presidential office to consist of five members who are:
a. Chairman of the Movement.
b. The Vice-Chairman of the Movement.
c. The Secretary General of the Movement.
d. The Commander-in-Chief of the Movement Army.
e. The General Coordinator of the Movement.
4. Nominated by the President of the Movement and the consent of the Legislative Council I appointed the following leaders to the positions referred to each of them:
a. Mr. Mohammed Ismail Mohammed Khamis (Christopher) the Vice-Chairman of the Movement.
b. Engineer Ibrahim Mohammed Beng the Secretary General of the Movement.
c. Field Marshal Adam Alsanosi Adam the Commander-in-Chief of the Movement Army.
d. Mr. xxxxx xxxxx xxxxxx The General Coordinator of the Movement.
